Literary historian Els Stronks will elaborate on the silent revolution that takes place in Literary Studies as a result of digitalisation, at NIAS's annual alumni event on 5 June 2015.

NFA Day 2015

Former NIAS Fellows will be revisiting NIAS on the annual NIAS Fellows Association Day on 5 June 2015. The highlight of the day will be the Uhlenbeck Lecture, named after NIAS' founder. NIAS and the NFA Board take great pleasure in announcing that Els Stronks, Professor of Early Modern Dutch Literature at Utrecht University, and Fellow in 2014/15, will deliver the 33rd Uhlenbeck Lecture, titled "Invisible Ink. Uncovering Meaning from Texts with Digital Tools".

15.30 -16.30 Uhlenbeck Lecture by Els Stronks

The General Meeting and Uhlenbeck Lecture will take place at the NIAS Conference Building.

NFA members can register for this event by before 11 May 2015.

 

About the NFA

The NIAS Fellows Association, NFA, is the alumni organisation of NIAS. It aims to promote "the optimum functioning of NIAS for the benefit of past, present, and future Fellows at NIAS, and the bonds between all those who have been associated with NIAS". The association was founded in 1977.
